GovCIO is hiring a Senior Splunk Engineer - Infrastructure Operations to design, implement, and operate Splunk Core, ES, ITSI, SOAR, and Splunk Cloud for the AOUSC NLS project. The role focuses on health monitoring, data ingestion, and cluster management across data centers, with full remote work in the United States.

The ideal candidate has extensive Splunk expertise, experience with ITSI and SOAR, and the ability to manage RBAC, data onboarding, and incident responses while coordinating with

Qualifications

• Expert skills in Enterprise Security, ITSI, SOAR, and the Splunk product line.
• Able to design, implement, and operate the Splunk Core, Enterprise Security, ITSI, Phantom, Splunk Cloud, Splunk On-Call, and Multi-Site Index Clustering environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate the Splunk Core, Enterprise Security, IT Service Intelligence, Phantom (SOAR), Splunk Cloud, Splunk On-Call, and Multi-Site Index Clustering environment.
• Monitor overall Splunk health through the Monitoring Console, indexer, search head, and cluster master status.
• Respond to health alerts and unresolved issues, ensure data flow integrity, and collaborate on escalations.
