Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Splunk/Elastic Engineer to support the GSMO II IDIQ contract’s DISA J-6 Cyber Security Task Order in Alexandria, VA. The role requires an active Secret clearance and will be based onsite in the Alexandria area.

You will design dashboards, monitor compliance, and develop automated data visualization services across Splunk/Elastic, leveraging multiple security tools to validate controls and posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Active Secret security clearance required prior to start.
• DoD 8570 IAM II certification required.
• Splunk Core Certified Power User or higher.
• Elastic Certified Analyst or higher.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design efficient and reusable reports and dashboards to integrate health and performance data in Splunk/Elastic.
• Direct and monitor reporting in Splunk/Elastic dashboards for compliance status and directives.
• Create front-end automated data visualization services using Splunk/Elastic.
• Create viewable dashboards for ingested log data visibility.
• Create alerts to deploy notes/emails/attachments to destinations.
• Create security rules/alerts for anomalous activity or threat detections.
• Utilize Splunk/Elastic, ACAS, HBSS, Tanium to assess/monitor security posture.
