Job summary

DLS Engineering is seeking a System Administrator III (Splunk Admin) to support the Air Force Intranet Control program in Montgomery, Alabama. This position is full-time and on-site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and managing Splunk infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. Ideal applicants will have over 5 years of experience in Splunk administration and hold relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with Splunk in a RHEL environment.
• Strong familiarity with RHEL administration.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and security frameworks.
• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• IAT II Certification is needed.
• Must have Splunk Enterprise Certification.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and manage Splunk clustered infrastructure.
• Develop strategies for efficient data ingestion and indexing.
• Consult with teams to customize Splunk searches and reports.
• Create and maintain documentation for configurations and monitoring.
• Implement and maintain security controls.
