Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology is required.
• CCC-SLP certification or qualifications equivalent to such certification is required.
• 3–5 years of directly related experience in Speech Pathology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Equivalent qualifications if meeting certification requirements and national examination for Speech Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and provide clinical services for patients with communication disorders.
• Coordinate diagnostic results with other professionals.
• Plan, direct, or participate in complex habilitative and rehabilitative programs.
• Maintain functional, comprehensive patient records.
• Supervise graduate students and train others in speech pathology techniques.
• Participate in research to develop diagnostic and remedial techniques for communication disorders.
• Maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students and the public.
