Job summary

The Center for Disabilities and Development at The University of Iowa seeks a full-time Speech Pathologist I to diagnose and provide clinical services for patients with communication disorders. Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech pathology is required.
• CCC-SLP or qualifications equivalent to certification is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Experience supervising students or staff is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Select, administer and interpret diagnostic procedures for differential diagnosis.
• Coordinate diagnostic results with professionals across education, medical, social and behavioral fields.
• Plan, direct, conduct or participate in habilitative and rehabilitative programs.
• Maintain comprehensive records for each patient.
• Supervise graduate students in speech pathology and audiology.
• Train others in speech pathology techniques and procedures.
