Job summary

Adventist Health Glendale seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide clinical services for evaluation and treatment of communication disorders. You will assess speech, language, cognition and swallowing, plan individual therapies and communicate with physicians.

The role mentors staff, completes documentation on time, and participates in department initiatives. Requires Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and state licensure; CCC is preferred; BLS/CPR required per policy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required per AH policy.

Responsibilities

• Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines.
• Performs evaluations to determine needs and develops individualized treatment plans.
• Provides therapy interventions and communicates discharge plans to care teams.
• Mentors staff on technical skills and participates in department initiatives.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
