Job summary

Telespeech Therapy INC. in California seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders across children and adults.

The SLP will also mentor in-house SLPAs and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in school and clinical settings. You will develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, educate families, and maintain thorough documentation to ensure high-quality care and compliance with ASHA and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CA State License in Speech-Language Pathology must be maintained during employment.
• Current ASHA CCC-SLP certification required.
• 2 years of experience providing patient-based services preferred.
• Completion of ASHA supervision requirements must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and Diagnosis: administer and interpret formal and informal assessments to identify speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Treatment Planning: create individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs and goals.
• Therapeutic Intervention: implement techniques and exercises to improve communication, swallowing, and overall function; provide therapy in individual and group settings.
• Patient and Family Education: counsel patients and families about condition, options, and strategies.
• Record Keeping: maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and outcomes for continuity of care and billing.
• Collaboration: work with a multidisciplinary team; attend meetings and report student progress.
• Progress Monitoring: regularly evaluate progress and adjust plans to achieve outcomes.
