Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland seeks a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead our SLP team and guide patients through speech and communication recovery. Qualifications

• Current state licensure in Speech Therapy is required by regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) is required.
• CPR certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Bachelor's degree in speech therapy; Master's/Doctorate preferred.
• Minimum two years of speech language pathology experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and build rewarding relationships to aid recovery.
• Lead SLP education and our student program for Speech Language Pathology.
• Mentor and train colleagues and other departments as needed.
• Supervise speech therapy assistants and technicians.
• Celebrate patient victories and outcomes along the journey.
