Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland seeks a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead and deliver high-quality patient care across the rehabilitation journey. You will guide a team, mentor staff, and provide direct patient care with compassion, advancing outcomes in a nationwide leader in post-acute care.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure in Speech Therapy.
• CCC (ASHA) certification required.
• CPR (BLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in speech therapy or management; Master's/Doctorate preferred.
• Minimum of two years of speech language pathology experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or other specialty certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients and build therapeutic relationships.
• Assist with SLP in-service education and student programs.
• Mentor and train new colleagues and other departments as needed.
• Supervise SLP assistants and technicians as assigned.
• Celebrate patient victories along the rehabilitation journey.
