Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises the Communication Disorders Service Department.
• Provides evaluations and therapy as ordered by the referring physician and recommends an appropriate treatment program.
• Evaluates, plans, and carries out therapy programs with goals subject to physician approval and periodic re-evaluations.
• Participates in in-service training for HomeCare personnel.
• Consults with HomeCare staff on communication problems of patients not receiving speech pathology services.
