Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Speech Language Pathologist after attaining CCC-SLP.
• California SLP license required at hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) required at hire.
• Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology certificate required at hire from ASHA.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services under supervision of Director/Assistant Director/Clinical Supervisor.
• Lead department in-service presentations as requested by management.
• Serve as clinical instructor as requested by management.
• Assist in orientation and training of employees.
• Provide consultation to staff.
• Mentor staff and input into clinical competency.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and participate in performance improvement projects.
• Monitor work of contract therapists and treatment of patients.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
