Job summary

Peraton seeks an Expert-Level Spectral Integration Engineer to lead the integration and deployment of spectral exploitation tools within large, enterprise-scale mission environments. This role focuses on establishing an integrated PED environment that enables image scientists to process, analyze, and exploit spectral datasets, including literal and non-literal data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, imagery analysis, or related STEM field with equivalent experience.
• 5+ years integrating sensor programs into complex systems-of-systems or SOA across cloud, on-premises, or hybrid infra.
• Active involvement with NGA/IC/DoD programs and spectral data integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment and integration of a spectral exploitation environment for data processing, analysis, and exploitation.
• Advise government stakeholders on technical vision, strategy, and capability development for spectral exploitation.
• Translate mission objectives into actionable system requirements and integration approaches.
• Plan and execute systems integration across complex architectures and enterprise ecosystems.
• Support requirements analysis, traceability, and workflow assessments to drive automation.
• Contribute to technical planning, project management, and risk management.
• Integrate spectral data into tools and ensure interoperability with the mission environment.
• Collaborate with engineering, science, and development teams to resolve integration challenges.
• Support cloud-based deployments across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid infrastructures.
• Apply systems engineering lifecycle practices to development, deployment, and sustainment.
