Job summary

Solvarus Consulting seeks a Spectral Integration Engineer to deploy a spectral exploitation environment and integrate it within the NSG TCPED Enterprise. You will collaborate with systems engineers, image scientists, and developers to ensure interoperable applications and end-to-end mission solutions.

Requirements include TS/SCI with poly, a STEM degree, and 5+ years in sensor program integration, NGA projects, and cloud-based deployments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, Imagery Analysis, or related STEM field.
• 5+ years integrating sensor programs into large complex System of Systems or SOA environments.
• 5+ years NGA program/project experience.
• Experience integrating spectral data into spectral exploitation tools.
• Experience using cloud-based technologies.
• Experience with the systems engineering lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert government guidance on vision, strategy, plans, needs and capabilities.
• Capture and translate mission requirements into system/capability requirements.
• Perform systems integration activities.
• Plan and trace user requirements, architectures, and workflows to improve processes.
• Lead establishment of an integrated PED environment for spectral exploitation.

Job description

Solvarus Consulting is dedicated to solving the toughest challenges the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. Join our team of experienced engineers in the development and institutionalization of a Digital Engineering environment set to contront these challenges. As a Solvarus team member, you will serve as a Spectral Integration Engineer you will be responsible for the engineering and deployment of a spectral exploitation environment and its integration within the broader NSG TCPED Enterprise. The candidate(s) will work with systems engineers, image scientists and developers to ensure applications and systems interoperate to deliver end-to-end mission solutions and maintain the integrity of the system-of-system enterprise.

Duties include:

Provides expert advice to the Government in the areas of relating vision, strategy, plans, needs, requirements, and process and capability developments.

• Assists the Government in the capture and translation of mission and customer requirements/needs into systems/capability requirements and solutions.
• Assists the Government in performing systems integration activities
• Assists with the planning, analysis/traceability of user requirements, architectures traceability, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
• Assists the Government in strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management and interface design.
• Lead the establishment of an integrated PED environment for spectral exploitation intended for image scientists to employ advanced tradecraft tools to process, analyze, and exploit literal and non-literal

Qualifications:

• Current and Active TS/SCI with Poly Security Clearance

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Imagery Analysis, or related STEM degree.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience integrating sensor programs into large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
• A minimum of 5 years NGA program/project work experience
• Experience integrating spectral data into spectral exploitation tools
• Experience integrating solutions using Cloud-based technologies
• Experience with and strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle

Desired Skills:

• INCOSE Expert Systems engineering Professional (ESEP) certification
• Experience integrating spectral exploitation tools within SAGE/CAP architecture
• Experience integrating solutions using advanced tradecraft tools used by NGA/ATS, such as Data Transformation Services and Full Spectrum Tool Kit
• Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages
• Demonstrated expertise in photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics, or related fields.
• Experience integrating solutions using Automation, Augmentation and Artificial Intelligence technologies
