Job summary

Solvarus Consulting is seeking a Spectral Integration Engineer to develop and deploy a spectral exploitation environment within the NSG TCPED Enterprise, collaborating with systems engineers, image scientists and developers to ensure end-to-end mission solutions.

The role requires a current TS/SCI clearance with poly, a STEM degree, and at least 5 years of experience in integrating sensor programs into large System of Systems or SOA environments, with cloud experience and lifecycle engineering.

Qualifications

• Current and Active TS/SCI with Poly Security Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Imagery Analysis, or related STEM field.
• At least 5 years of experience integrating sensor programs into large System of Systems or SOA environments.
• NGA program/project experience.
• Experience integrating spectral data into spectral exploitation tools.
• Experience with Cloud-based technologies and systems engineering lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provides expert advice to the Government in the areas of relating vision, strategy, plans, needs, requirements, and process and capability developments.
• Translates mission requirements/needs into systems/capability requirements and solutions.
• Performs systems integration activities and plans traceability of requirements and architectures.
• Leads establishment of an integrated PED environment for spectral exploitation.
• Collaborates with image scientists, systems engineers and developers to ensure interoperable end-to-end mission solutions.

Join our team of experienced engineers in the development and institutionalization of a Digital Engineering environment set to contront these challenges. As a Solvarus team member, you will serve as a Spectral Integration Engineer you will be responsible for the engineering and deployment of a spectral exploitation environment and its integration within the broader NSG TCPED Enterprise. The candidate(s) will work with systems engineers, image scientists and developers to ensure applications and systems interoperate to deliver end-to-end mission solutions and maintain the integrity of the system-of-system enterprise.

Duties Include

Provides expert advice to the Government in the areas of relating vision, strategy, plans, needs, requirements, and process and capability developments.

• Assists the Government in the capture and translation of mission and customer requirements/needs into

systems/capability requirements and solutions.

• Assists the Government in performing systems integration activities.
• Assists with the planning, analysis/traceability of user requirements, architectures traceability, procedures, and

problems to automate or improve existing, workflow, and scheduling limitations.

• Assists the Government in strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk

management and interface design.

• Lead the establishment of an integrated PED environment for spectral exploitation intended for image scientists

to employ advanced tradecraft tools to process, analyze, and exploit literal and non-literal

Qualifications

• Current and Active TS/SCI with Poly Security Clearance.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Imagery Analysis, or related STEM degree.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience integrating sensor programs into large complex System of Systems or

Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.

• A minimum of 5 years NGA program/project work experience
• Experience integrating spectral data into spectral exploitation tools
• Experience integrating solutions using Cloud-based technologies.
• Experience with and strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle.

Desired Skills:

• INCOSE Expert Systems engineering Professional (ESEP) certification.
• Experience integrating spectral exploitation tools within SAGE/CAP architecture
• Experience integrating solutions using advanced tradecraft tools used by NGA/ATS, such as Data

Transformation Services and Full Spectrum Tool Kit

• Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages.
• Demonstrated expertise in photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic

information systems, geomatics, or related fields.

• Experience integrating solutions using Automation, Augmentation and Artificial Intelligence technologies.
