Job summary

International Motors, Lisle, Illinois, is seeking a Sr. Specifications Engineer to lead the transformation of the product structure into the TRATON Group's TMS framework. You will manage engineering BOM configurations and mentor team members throughout the change process.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering, cross-functional teams, and the development of modular product structures for sustainable mobility solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and at least 1 year of product design/development and/or computer science experience
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science
• Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis to be employed in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Works in cooperation with engineering to identify, assimilate, analyze and finalize bills of material configurations and compatibilities to support manufacturing
• Directly interacts with TRATON partners in the enablement of collaboration processes, tools and methods in direct support of the Traton Modular System (TMS)
• Develops and implements Product Structure plans for Engineering Bill of Materials based on program/project requirements
• Creation of new product structure strategies required to support modularization and transformation of current product structure
• Analyzes and completes incoming product change requests
• Facilitates cross-functional collaboration throughout various change management phases
• Helps mentor other team members based on knowledge proficiency
