Job summary

TRATON R&D is seeking a Sr. Specifications Engineer to drive the transformation of International’s product structure into the TMS system and manage BOM configurations for new and existing programs.

You will lead the move from legacy structures to modular systems, mentor teammates, and collaborate across functions to resolve complex problems while delivering results that meet design requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Engineering Technology or CS with 1+ year of product design/development or CS experience.
• Or a Master's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or CS.

Responsibilities

• Works with engineering to identify and finalize BOM configurations and compatibilities for manufacturing.
• Interacts with TRATON partners to enable collaboration processes and methods for the TMS.
• Develops and implements Product Structure plans for Engineering BOM based on requirements.
• Creates new product structure strategies to support modularization and transformation.
• Assesses incoming product change requests.
• Facilitates cross-functional collaboration through change management phases.
• Mentors other team members based on knowledge proficiency.
