Job summary

ECS Southwest, LLP is looking for an experienced Specification Writer III to join our team in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you will collaborate with architects and engineers to research materials and develop specifications aligned with project requirements.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in architectural writing, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and strong knowledge of architectural design.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's in related field preferred.
8+ years of experience in architectural and specification writing.
Membership in CSI; certifications like CDT, CCS, or LEED AP are a plus.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with architects and project teams to develop specifications.
Lead research on product materials for architectural projects.
Review and write specifications for projects ensuring compliance.

Skills
