Job summary

Canadian Breaks Consulting, LLC seeks a Specialty Piping Construction Manager–Senior Consultant to oversee the planning, delivery, and testing of UHP gas, UPW, and related systems in an active semiconductor fab. You will manage scope from preconstruction to turnover, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget alignment with purity requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of specialty or process piping construction management experience.
• 5+ years on semiconductor fab or other high-purity projects.
• Strong background in UHP gas, UPW, chemical distribution, PCW, and exhaust systems.
• Familiar with 316L EP stainless, PVDF/PFA/PP piping, and welding methods.
• Experience with codes and standards (ASME B31.3, BPE, SEMI S2/F-series, NFPA 318).
• Experience managing helium leak, particle, moisture, oxygen, and purity testing.
• Ability to manage multiple trade partners and change orders.
• Experience in active cleanroom environments and contamination control.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction for specialty piping scopes (UHP gas, UPW, chemicals, PCW, vacuum, exhaust).
• Develop and maintain detailed schedules and lookahead plans.
• Review P&IDs, isometrics, BIM, tool hookup layouts; resolve RFIs and field clashes.
• Oversee procurement for stainless and high-purity piping, valves, gas cabinets, and spools.
• Manage trade partners and scope interfaces in sub-fab, fab, and central utility buildings.
• Ensure compliance with codes and owner high-purity specs; safety first.
• Plan testing/certification programs and prepare QA/QC turnover packages.
• Coordinate with other scopes for tool hookup, hazardous materials, and commissioning.
• Provide status reports and risk mitigation updates to leadership and clients.
