Job summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Specialty Physician Coder to review and analyze specialty coding and billing for charge processing. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately coding procedures for reimbursement while ensuring compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in medical coding, including 2 years in specialty coding. The position offers a predominantly remote work environment and a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience working in a hospital or physician’s office as a medical coder.
• 2 years’ experience as a specialty coder in specific medical fields.
• Expert knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze specialty coding and billing for charge processing.
• Accurate coding for reimbursement and ensuring compliance.
• Serve as a point of contact for contract coders.
