Amazon has been investing in AI for over 20 years, integrating machine learning into many of our products and services, from recommendations and supply chain optimization to Alexa and Amazon Go. Within AWS, we offer a comprehensive AI stack including frameworks like Apache MXNet and TensorFlow, platforms like Amazon SageMaker, and API-driven services such as Amazon Bedrock, Lex, Kendra, Transcribe, Comprehend, and Rekognition.

We are seeking a Machine Learning Solutions Architect (ML SA) to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in designing solutions that leverage our ML services for customers across the Americas. You will collaborate with industry verticals, guide customer engagements, develop best practices and thought leadership content, and work closely with AWS service teams to enhance our offerings.

Ideal candidates will have deep technical experience in AI, ML, or deep learning, a strong background in mathematics and statistics, and familiarity with the GenAI ecosystem. You may work from various cities including San Jose, Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, Austin, Dallas, Atlanta, or Arlington, with travel up to 50% across the USA.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work with customer development and data science teams to understand their needs and design solutions using AWS AI/ML services.
2. Partner with sales, business development, and service teams to drive adoption and revenue in the Americas.
3. Share knowledge through blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and speaking engagements.
4. Act as a liaison between customers and AWS service teams to provide feedback for product improvements.
5. Support the development of an internal community of GenAI experts in the region.

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking, or analytics.
• 3+ years in designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructure.
• Experience in a technical sales or advisory role.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT development or consulting within software or internet industries.
• Experience working with end-user or developer communities.
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience architecting solutions on AWS.
