Job summary

MSD is seeking a Senior Specialist, Software Engineering (MuleSoft Integration) to design, develop, and support enterprise integrations across our digital ecosystem. You will implement API-led connectivity using MuleSoft CloudHub 2.0 and Anypoint Runtime Fabric, and work with Salesforce, SAP, and MDM to enable scalable, secure integrations.

The role partners with architects, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver reusable integration services aligned with API-first and platform engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, information systems, engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of software engineering or system integration experience.
• 4+ years hands-on MuleSoft CloudHub 2.0 and Anypoint Runtime Fabric experience.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth2, API security.
• Experience with enterprise applications integration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile delivery.

Role Overview

The Senior Specialist, Software Engineering (MuleSoft Integration) is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions that enable seamless connectivity across Animal Health's digital ecosystem. This role develops and maintains integrations on the MuleSoft AnyPpoint Platform, supporting strategic programs including OneCRM, Master Data Management, eCommerce, Customer Engagement, and other global initiatives across the enterprise. Working closely with architects, product teams, and business stakeholders, the successful candidate will deliver scalable, secure, and reusable integration services that support the organization's API-first and platform engineering strategy. The role contributes to the System Integration foundational capabilty, one of the core platformdomains within AH IT Foundational Platforms & Engineering.

What will you do in this role

• Design, develop, test, and deploy MuleSoft integrations and APIs.

What should you have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of software engineering or system integration experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on MuleSoft CloudHub 2.0 and Anypoint Runtime Fabric (RTF) experience.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth2, API Security, and integration patterns.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications and cloud platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile delivery methods.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• MuleSoft Certified Developer and/or Integration Architect certification.
• Experience with Salesforce, SAP, MDM, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience in large global enterprises and regulated environments.
• Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or SAP BTP platforms.
