Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced API Integration Developer to design, build, and operate enterprise MuleSoft-based integrations in a 100% remote US role. You will own the integration lifecycle, from API design to deployment, observability, and ongoing optimization, partnering with architects, product teams, and partners to deliver secure, scalable assets.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of MuleSoft experience, strong API design and security knowledge, and hands-on expertise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of integration experience with strong MuleSoft AnypointPlatform.
• Hands-on experience with AnypointStudio, DataWeave, and Mule runtime.
• Solid understanding of API-led connectivity and RAML/OAS API design.
• Experience with CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or Hybrid deployment.
• Experience with API security standards (OAuth2, mTLS, JWT) and Anypoint API Manager.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD for MuleSoft.
• Familiarity with event-driven integration using AnypointMQ or Kafka.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience integrating with Salesforce, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration flows in MuleSoft AnypointStudio, including DataWeave transformations, error handling, and reusable connectors.
• Apply API-led connectivity to deliver reusable, composable integration assets.
• Design and publish well-documented APIs using API Designer and the AnypointExchange.
• Configure and manage runtimes (CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, Hybrid) for workload requirements.
• Implement strong API security using OAuth2, mTLS, JWT, and Anypoint API Manager policies.
• Build event-driven integrations using AnypointMQ, Salesforce Platform Events, or Kafka.
• Optimize integration performance with pooling, caching, and parallel processing.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft apps using Maven, AnypointCLI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Migrate legacy integrations from Oracle SOA, BizTalk to MuleSoft.
• Maintain monitoring and observability using Anypoint Monitoring and external tools.

In this role you will own the integration lifecycle, including API design, flow development, deployment, observability, and ongoing optimization. The ideal candidate will combine deep hands-onMuleSoftexperience with strong API-led connectivity practices, and will partner with enterprise architects, application teams, and integration partners to deliver reliable, secure, and reusable integration assets. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional partners — product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders — to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineeredsolutions, andwill be expected to raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers. The successful candidate brings strong engineering discipline, a clear communication style, anda track recordof shipping meaningful work that holds up well in production.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to internal integration patterns and standards.Collaborate closely with security, enterprise architecture, and application development teams, gathering requirements, aligning on technical approach, and ensuring that delivered solutions meet both functional needs and broader engineering and operational standards.
