This is a unique opportunity for a high-performing professional with a background in loan markets, quantitative finance, financial engineering, modeling, data science, and/or analytics to work at the intersection of structured credit, loans, technology, and analytics platform transformation.

In this role, you will help shape the future-state operating model for CLO and loans analytics, contributing not only to model and investor report development, but also to the modernization of our modeling platform and leverage agentic and AI-enabled capabilities across the workflow. This includes opportunities to support solutions for CLO document review, data extraction, model development, quality control, analytics generation, and process automation. This role is located out of our Houston, TX or Pittsburgh, PA office.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Develop, maintain, quality check, and enhance CLO compliance and waterfall models, including programming and analysis of collateral quality tests, coverage tests, concentration limits, payment structures, and cash flow mechanics to ensure adherence to governing transaction documents.
  • Analyze and interpret complex legal and transaction documents, including CLO indentures, offering memoranda, and related deal documentation, translating structural language into modeling logic, analytics requirements, and reporting outputs.
  • Build, review, and enhance investor reports, dashboards, and analytics covering compliance tests, noteholder distributions, asset-level information, and other key transaction metrics to support accurate and timely stakeholder reporting.
  • Apply quantitative modeling, data analysis, and scenario-based thinking to stress test transactions and evaluate portfolio behavior, structural performance, and model outcomes across CLO transactions.
  • Partner with internal teams and data providers to source, integrate, and validate critical datasets, ensuring strong data integrity across model inputs, calculations, and outputs.
  • Perform detailed reviews, reconciliations, and trend analyses to identify modeling issues, improve performance, strengthen controls, and support continuous enhancement of analytics processes and outputs in alignment with evolving market conditions and transaction structures.
  • Contribute to the transformation of the CLO / loans modeling platform, helping to define and implement scalable, efficient, and controlled solutions that improve the end-to-end analytics lifecycle.
  • Support the adoption of agentic and AI-enabled capabilities to enhance document ingestion, clause analysis, data extraction, model setup, model QC, exception identification, and other high-value analytical workflows.
  • Collaborate across business, analytics, technology, and operations teams to align on transaction requirements, deliver process improvements, solve complex transaction challenges, and support strategic modernization initiatives and ad-hoc client requests.
  • Mentor junior team members and help foster a culture of analytical rigor, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or another highly quantitative discipline, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial modeling, structured finance, leveraged loans, CLOs, corporate trust analytics, data science, or related quantitative/analytical roles.
  • Strong interest in or knowledge of CLOs, loans, structured debt products, transaction types, and related concepts.
  • Experience building or supporting financial models, analytical tools, or data-driven workflows in a controlled business environment.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming or analytical languages/tools such as Python, SQL, VBA, R, or similar technologies used for workflow automation, model logic, data analysis, and quality control.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with analytics, workflow, or visualization platforms such as Power BI, Alteryx, SharePoint, or similar tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large and complex datasets, perform root-cause analysis, and translate data into business and analytical insight.
  • Strong problem-solving, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail, with the ability to evaluate complex transaction structures and produce accurate, high-quality outputs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical or structural concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders.
