Job summary

Archer, in partnership with BNY, seeks a Senior Specialist, Loans Modeling & Analytics for the Corporate Trust Analytics Group. The role will be based in Houston, TX or Pittsburgh, PA and focus on CLO and loans analytics, model development, data integration, and modernization of the modeling platform.

You'll apply quantitative finance, data science, and AI-enabled approaches to transform how structured credit analytics is delivered, mentor teammates, and deliver scalable, controlled solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a highly quantitative discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years in financial industry; 3-5 years in financial modeling/quantitative roles preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CLOs, loans, structured credit concepts.
• Experience building or supporting financial models, analytics tools, or data-driven workflows.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, VBA, R, or similar technologies for workflow automation and analytics.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with analytics/visualization platforms (Power BI, Alteryx, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance CLO models, cash flow mechanics, and related tests to meet transaction documents.
• Translate complex legal documents into analytics requirements and reporting outputs.
• Create and improve investor reports, dashboards, and analytics for stakeholder reporting.
• Apply quantitative modeling and data analysis to stress test transactions and assess portfolio behavior.
• Collaborate with data providers to source, clean, and validate datasets ensuring data integrity.
• Identify modeling issues, perform reconciliations, and drive process improvements.
