BNY Mellon seeks a Senior Specialist, Loans Modeling & Analytics to join Corporate Trust Analytics. Location options include Houston, TX or Pittsburgh, PA offices.

You’ll shape the future-state model for CLOs and loans analytics, modernize the modeling platform, and enable AI-driven capabilities across workflows. You will collaborate with data providers, build reports, and support transformation initiatives while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or another highly quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years in financial industry, 3-5 years in financial modeling or related roles preferred.
• Strong interest in CLOs, loans, structured credit products and related concepts.
• Experience building or supporting financial models, analytical tools, or data-driven workflows in a controlled environment.
• Proficiency in programming/analytical languages such as Python, SQL, VBA, R, or similar. Advanced Excel and analytics platforms (Power BI, Alteryx, SharePoint).

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and enhance CLO compliance and waterfall models.
• Analyze legal and transaction documents into analytics requirements and reporting outputs.
• Build and enhance investor reports, dashboards, and analytics for transaction metrics.
• Apply quantitative modeling and data analysis to stress test transactions and portfolio behavior.
• Source, validate, and integrate datasets ensuring data integrity across model inputs and outputs.
• Perform reviews, reconciliations, and trend analyses to improve analytics processes.
• Contribute to transforming the CLO/loans modeling platform for scalable solutions.
• Support AI-enabled capabilities for document ingestion, data extraction, and model QC.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver process improvements and respond to client needs.
• Mentor junior team members and foster analytical rigor and learning.
