Job Description
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Sr Specialist to join our Controllers team. This role is located in Pittsburgh.
Responsibilities
- Support a portfolio of legal entities and related business activities by performing accounting, financial reporting, governance, and control responsibilities.
- Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of financial information for management reporting, board reporting, regulatory filings, external reporting and strategic decision making.
- Execute and analyze month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and the preparation and review of financial reporting packages.
- Support internal and external audits, regulatory examinations, and control testing activities by providing analysis, documentation and issue resolution.
- Analyze financial results, identify key business drivers, and provide meaningful insights to management regarding trends, risks, opportunities and emerging issues.
- Partner with Finance, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Regulatory Reporting, Risk, Technology and other business teams to support legal entity governance, organizational changes, accounting initiatives, and strategic projects.
- Provide guidance and review support to less experienced team members as needed.
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards, reporting requirements and process improvements.
- Leverage automation, data analytics and AI‑enabled technologies to streamline accounting and reporting processes, increase analytical capabilities, and improve the reliability of financial information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Accounting concentration preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
- Knowledge of GAAP and accounting and finance concepts and analysis techniques.

Base salary for this position will be determined at hiring and may vary based on location, experience and other factors. Eligible employees may enroll in a discretionary incentive award program and other plans active at the time of hiring.
