Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 60 college hours completed.
• Job-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in adapting and presenting instructional materials.
• Support students in achieving behavior goals and social development.
• Attend meetings, trainings and convey information related to job functions.
• Communicate student progress to teachers and participate in needs assessments.
• Document observations and maintain written records.
• Escort students and ensure their welfare.
• Guide students with disabilities in personal interactions and problem solving.
• Maintain instructional files and records.
• Monitor performance and provide feedback within IEPs.
• Report health and safety issues to staff and agencies as needed.
• Support students in various educational environments to ensure a safe learning environment.
• Perform other related duties as required/assigned.
