Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a senior Test Definition Responsible Engineer for the Human Landing System. You will drive integrated test definitions across programs, elements, and partners to ensure end-to-end coverage from planning to production operations.

As a senior technical integrator, you will own test plans, interfaces, and schedules, mentoring teams and coordinating with NASA and industry partners to verify requirements traceability and drive successful mission-critical testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in test engineering, systems test, or verification across design and execution lifecycles.
• Experience owning test planning, requirements verification, and integrated system-level test definitions.
• Working knowledge of ICDs/IRDs, requirements traceability, and integrated master schedule dependencies.
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical efforts and coordinate across organizations.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or eligible under immigration rules.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an HLS test integrator and Responsible Engineer, driving test definition into integrated testing across teams.
• Create and coordinate integrated and joint test plans across test beds and mission operations.
• Assess interface documents against test objectives to confirm requirements are traced and identified gaps closed.
• Review engineering changes and keep test definitions current across data repositories.
• Provide IMS inputs and manage test dependencies across IPTs for a coherent test strategy.
• Own test data products end-to-end and drive test definitions into production test operations.
• Interface with customers and partners on test coordination and insights.
• Provide technical mentoring and lead cross-functional test efforts.
