Job summary

Relative Dynamics Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to perform surveillance and QA functions at supplier sites for space flight hardware.

The role involves extensive travel for pre-cap inspections, TIMs, and milestone reviews, with coverage possibly during evenings and weekends. You will review processes from PCB quality to readiness for launch, monitor supplier QA, and participate in MRRS/TRRs.

Qualifications

• 15+ years experience in manufacturing, assembly and/or quality assurance of space flight hardware.
• Experience with NASA projects and standards (e.g., IPC J-STD-001ES/FS, NASA-STD-8739.1/4/6).
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work with mission assurance teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance at supplier locations and QA reviews of hardware.
• Review processes for PCBs, soldering, coatings, ESD controls, cleanroom activities.
• Contribute to MRRs/TRRs, project planning, and supplier quality control.
• Lead inspections including pre-cap, 100% solder joints, conformal coatings, final workmanship, and packaging.
• Support shipments and spaceflight hardware readiness activities.
