Job summary

Axiom Space is seeking a Probabilistic Risk Analyst to join the Safety and Mission Assurance team in the United States. You will ensure crew safety and contribute to mission success across complex spaceflight programs.

The role requires a strong background in reliability engineering, PRA, MTBF, FMEA, and data management, with leadership experience guiding a team of engineers.

Experience with NASA programs and space systems is valued; occasional travel and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (aerospace, electrical, mechanical, or related).
• 10+ years in spacecraft reliability-focused activities including PRA.
• Experience with RelEx Windchill PTC and/or Saphire desired.
• Background in space systems engineering and human spaceflight experience.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a reliability strategy for components and systems.
• Lead Reliability Engineers to meet milestones.
• Present PRA results to management and stakeholders.
• Conduct end-to-end reliability analyses (MTBF, PRA, FMEA).
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure safety and mission assurance.
