Qualifications

• 12+ years of technical experience in design and analysis of aerospace hardware.
• Adept with CAD software such as SolidWorks and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Experience with spacecraft environments and testing, including random, sine, and acoustic vibration tests, and TVAC testing.
• Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals, knowledge of satellite hardware and subsystems.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Help set technical direction for the group and beyond.
• Create processes, tools, standards, and design guides to build knowledge-base and best practices.
• Support REAs to solve challenges, identify solutions, and develop verification tests.
• Provide technical guidance to programs through design reviews and customer meetings.
• Audit internal programs and suppliers to identify industry best practices and improvements.
• Mentor mid-career mechanical engineers.
