Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or another applicable engineering discipline from an accredited engineering school.
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in loads, structural dynamics, finite element analysis, or spacecraft/launch-vehicle structural analysis.
• Experience performing or reviewing dynamic finite element analysis and modal analysis.
• Experience evaluating complex models and deriving engineering conclusions.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, C, C++, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical insight and independent assessment of loads and structural-dynamics analyses.
• Perform and assess coupled loads analyses for spacecraft and launch vehicles.
• Develop, review, and evaluate finite element models for structural dynamics.
• Conduct modal, transient, and vibration analyses for spacecraft environments.
• Identify critical modes, load paths, and interfaces affecting design.
• Collaborate with NASA, contractors, and providers in reviews and testing.
