Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to lead development and execution of tests on satellite and space hardware. You will design test methods, perform electrical testing at unit and spacecraft levels, and conduct thorough failure analyses to identify improvements.

Requirements include a bachelor’s in EE or related field, 6+ years in a similar role, and familiarity with AS9100 standards. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills are essential for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with satellite and space hardware testing.
• Knowledge of test method development.
• Experience with AS9100 standards.
• Experience with failure analysis methods such as Ishikawa and 5-Why (preferred).
• Electrical testing experience at unit and spacecraft levels.
• Linux, scripting (Python, etc.) (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Developing and conducting tests on satellite and space hardware, ensuring products meet standards and specifications.
• Creating and implementing test methods and procedures to identify issues.
• Performing electrical testing at unit and spacecraft level, analyzing results for improvements.
• Conducting failure analysis using Ishikawa and 5-Why methods.
• Troubleshooting issues during testing and determining resolutions.
• Ensuring work follows AS9100 standards.
• Collaborating with team members to improve testing processes.
• Staying updated on latest developments to continually improve testing.
