Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Spacecraft Electrical Engineer in Washington, DC, to design and develop spacecraft power systems and electronics. This role requires collaboration with a team to create innovative control electronics and health monitoring systems.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, extensive experience, and the ability to obtain security clearance. This hybrid position allows both on-site and remote work.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in electrical systems engineering.
• Ability to analyze designs for proper operation.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and customers on products/projects.
• Design spacecraft power systems and sensor instrumentation.
• Create spacecraft control and motor control electronics.
• Ensure designs conform to standards and specifications.
