Job summary

Lunar Outpost Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead end-to-end electrical hardware development for spaceflight and lunar surface systems, with emphasis on power, digital, analog, and high‑speed interfaces.

Work with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced startup environment to design, test, and mature hardware from schematic capture through layout and integration for the MAPP rover program.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing electrical hardware for aerospace or safety-critical systems.
• Hands-on schematic design and layout with signal integrity awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, bring-up, and verification on spaceflight hardware.
• Design and review mixed-signal circuits including digital, analog, sensing, control, and power.
• Design board-level power circuitry with DC/DC, regulation, sequencing, and protection.
• Support high-speed designs (LVDS, Ethernet, SpaceWire, PCIe) with SI focus.
• Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, software, and systems teams for robust integration.
• Assist test campaigns: functional, environmental, EMI/EMC, and system tests.
• Maintain ECAD libraries and support NASA program needs.
