Job summary

RTX's Advanced Technology organization in Tucson, AZ seeks a Spacecraft Concept & Mission Engineer to develop satellite technology, assess mission CONOPs, and support new missions for national security space customers. You will analyze notional missions, build mission analysis tools, and work with programs to mature technologies and capture new work, including IRAD opportunities.

This onsite role requires a Top Secret clearance, a STEM degree, and hands-on experience with Python, MATLAB, C++,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret U.S. government clearance or ability to obtain.
• Experience in system-level domains and mission planning.

Responsibilities

• Analyze notional missions and hardware feasibility across disciplines.
• Develop mission analysis tools and perform trajectory optimization.
• Coordinate with product lines and leadership on concept maturation and captures.
• Engage in mission planning software development and testing.
