Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• 7+ years of software development in wireless networking or high‑performance networking.
• Advanced proficiency in C/C++ with Linux/RTOS in timing‑sensitive software.
• Experience designing or implementing MAC protocols and QoS systems.
• Experience with hardware integration and production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement MAC control‑plane software for satellite links.
• Develop scalable TDMA and resource‑allocation algorithms.
• Implement state machines for link establishment and maintenance.
• Develop MAC control logic for QoS, flow control, and link adaptation.
• Define interfaces between MAC, PHY, modem, and data plane.
• Evaluate centralized, distributed, and hierarchical MAC architectures.
• Build simulation, test, telemetry, and performance analysis tools.
• Lead MAC control‑plane development from prototype to deployment.
