Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a Space Threat & Domain Awareness Analyst to provide analytical and technical leadership for national security space initiatives.

You will work across DoW and USSF enterprises to shape resilient architectures and assess evolving adversary capabilities. The role requires TS/SCI clearance, a relevant engineering or science degree, and 6+ years in space surveillance.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance at time of application.
• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, Intelligence Studies, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience with space surveillance architectures.
• Knowledge of orbital maneuvers and space threat environments.
• Experience synthesizing intelligence reporting and systems engineering judgments.

Responsibilities

• Integrate defense guidance with Space Domain Awareness concepts across multiple enclaves.
• Characterize adversary capabilities through space surveillance and signature analysis.
• Synthesize intelligence with systems engineering data to form threat baselines.
• Bridge technical engineering and operational intelligence to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and warfighters on space mission areas.
• Drive requirements for next‑gen SDA toolsets and mission assurance strategies.
