Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Test and Evaluation Engineer to support STARCOM TES at Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO. Active TS/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility is required. Role focuses on planning, executing, and evaluating space systems tests using M&S/HWIL, with DoD acquisition familiarity.

Responsibilities include test planning, data analysis, and development of test reports. Strong background in test, evaluation, and modeling is essential for mission success in this high-impact program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Math, Probability, Statistics or Science.
• 10+ years of demonstrated Systems &/or Test Engineering experience with space, ground, operations, and sustainment segments of DoD.
• SME-level understanding of test, evaluation and experimentation and the distinctions between developmental, operational, and integrated test.
• Knowledge of modeling and simulation, design of experiments and response surface methodologies, regression testing, and validation of models and simulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of space systems tests & experiments.
• Design, develop, and execute advanced test/experimentation programs to assess space systems.
• Apply statistical tools to increase test efficiency and produce actionable results.
• Create/test documentation including plans, safety packages, data analysis, and test reports.
• Perform analysis on pre-test predictions and design test events to meet objectives.
• Review systems, sub-systems, and components to ensure proper DMAP data collection.
