Job summary

KBR’s National Security Solutions team seeks a Senior Test and Evaluation Engineer to support STARCOM TES at Schriever SFB in Colorado Springs, CO. An active TS/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility is required, with experience in acquisition lifecycle and testing across space systems.

Responsibilities include designing and executing advanced test programs, applying DOE and M&S tools, and generating actionable data-driven reports to meet mission objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as OR, Engineering, Math, Probability, Statistics or Science.
• Master’s degree with 10+ years of demonstrated experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of space systems tests & experiments.
• Design, develop, and execute advanced test programs to assess space systems.
• Apply statistical tools and DOE to improve test efficiency and results.
• Create/review test documentation such as test plans, safety data, and test reports.
• Perform data analysis, DMAP data collection, and go/no-go criteria.
• Review systems and components to ensure proper data collection and evaluation.
• Execute simulations to evaluate system effectiveness under relevant conditions.
• Monitor M&S data collection and guide test result evaluation.
• Create test reports/presentations and enhance data analysis tools.
