Job summary

Dcubed seeks a Senior Engineering Projects Manager in the United States with a strong background in mechanical and mechatronics engineering to mentor a small multi-disciplinary team and support design and analysis for spaceflight hardware.

The role blends technical SME, team leadership, and project management with hands-on design and analysis across mechanical, electrical, and systems disciplines; hybrid work is offered with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering with 7+ years experience.
• Spaceflight hardware experience with hands-on work.
• Past project and/or team management experience.
• Interest in working with small, fast-paced teams.
• Strong technical skills in Mechanical Design, CAD, FEA, and Mechatronics.

Responsibilities

• Provide management of a multi-functional technical team and associated projects supporting Dcubed engineering functions.
• Perform design or analysis of structures, mechanisms, or mechatronic systems.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and avionics a plus
• Assist with management of external contractors for engineering services
• Mentor less-senior engineers on engineering and project management topics
• Support hardware procurement including vendor identification, vetting, and management.
