Job summary

Quantum Sky is seeking a Test Engineer to support a US Government customer in Albuquerque, NM, on-site at Kirtland AFB. The role focuses on space-based communications system integration and testing across hardware and software domains.

Responsibilities include planning and executing developmental tests, translating customer requirements into test plans, and validating system and product requirements while proposing issue remediation to ensure successful program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a discipline relevant to the position with 15 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree with 10 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees engineering activities of the organization's integration efforts for space-based communications systems.
• Plans, designs, develops, evaluates, executes, and reports findings from developmental tests of hardware and software components and systems.
• Captures, understands, translates, and documents customer requirements.
• Validates implementation of system and product requirements.
• Evaluates programmatic and technical documentation to insure efficient planning, design, function, and execution.
• Identifies and recommends troubleshooting and remediation action to remediate shortfalls in project implementation.
