Job summary

QinetiQ US in Chantilly, VA, is hiring a Space Systems Engineer – Integration to support next-generation satellites and fire control systems. You will provide technical input to program management and serve in a systems engineering role across reviews, tests, and vendor architecture alignment.

The role requires a BS in STEM, 8+ years of related experience, and TS/SCI clearance. The successful candidate will work with government, military, SETA, FFRDC, UARC, and industry partners to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required.
• Minimum 8 years' experience with satellite and fire control systems.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Strong requirements development and tracking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for space systems integration and testing.
• Oversee systems engineering processes, including cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffs.
• Develop test objectives and plans, and execute tests with analysis.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage test resources.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies for program activities.
• Prepare briefings and reports for diverse audiences, from staff to executives.
