Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Principal Integration Engineer in Santa Maria, CA to modernize space launch ranges and support the Assured Access to Space (AATS) mission. Role focuses on system integration, architecture and enabling faster spaceflight cadence.

The candidate will lead architecture design, gather requirements, coordinate with multiple teams, and ensure system integrity through testing and deployment. This is a highly technical, customer-facing role requiring deep expertise in systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent.
• Knowledge of systems engineering processes and lifecycle.
• Experience with integration and interface design.

Responsibilities

• Defines systems linking complex components with software applications.
• Leads integration and migration plans and schedules.
• Provides technical insight to address integration challenges and mission needs.
