Job summary

Varda in El Segundo, CA, is seeking a Senior Systems, Integration & Test Engineer to own the vehicle end-to-end—from integration through launch. You will lead design trades, define the test campaign, execute floor tests, and command the vehicle in orbit, interfacing with all engineering teams to balance conflicting requirements.

Responsibilities include driving system-level trades, managing the milestone schedule, and automating tests with Python.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering, physics, or related field required.
• Experience as the decision maker on a test campaign is essential.
• Hands-on experience building aerospace vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Own technical decisions to ensure vehicle success.
• Create and own the vehicle integration and test campaign to validate flight readiness.
• Analyze and optimize system-level performance metrics such as mass, delta-V, power, and data budgets.
