Job summary

As an SME, you’ll drive requirements definition, interfaces, design, integration, test, verification, and mission operations across the lifecycle.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Systems, Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with 10+ years in systems engineering, proven leadership in space-system development, and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems, Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or related field; 10+ years in systems engineering preferred.
• Experience leading space system development for challenging environments and missions.
• Experience with MBSE (Model Based System Engineering).
• Experience with NASA/DoD lifecycle reviews (e.g. SRR, PDR, CDR).
• Experience with requirement tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
• Serve as focal point for technical issues and cross-team coordination.
• Define and coordinate system performance requirements and ensure interface compatibility.
• Create, track, and maintain requirements in state-of-the-art tools.
• Perform analyses to optimize system architecture and performance.
• Lead resolution of technical issues with SMEs and product team.
• Write technical policies, procedures, and documentation.
