Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer II to support our Space Systems division, leading the development and management of budgets, requirements, test plans, and the overall systems engineering process on civil, commercial, and defense programs.

You will work hands-on with flight hardware, collaborate across disciplines, and drive interface specifications, CONOPS, and verification methods to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering in a technical discipline.
• 8+ years of aerospace engineering experience.
• Experience supporting satellite or spacecraft programs.
• Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.

• Develop and maintain budgets for vehicle performance.
