Job summary

Rocket Lab USA is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer I to join the Space Systems team in Long Beach, CA. You will develop budgets, define requirements, run simulations, and guide the technical development of spacecraft missions, collaborating with civil, commercial, and defense customers.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 5+ years in aerospace, and an active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 5+ years of aerospace engineering experience
• Experience in satellite/spacecraft development
• Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI

• Develop and maintain budgets for vehicle performance and system budgets
