Job summary

Loft Federal is seeking a Senior Satellite Systems Engineer to join the mission team. You will work on multiple satellite missions with cross-functional teams, developing interface specifications, CONOPS, and verification approaches while supporting test campaigns at the manufacturer’s facility.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret.
• Experience as a technical specialist on spacecraft subsystems and system-level experience (Thermal, Structural, ADCS, RF Link).
• Experience delivering a spacecraft to orbit or space-qualified hardware to a customer.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage technical budgets, system requirements and verification approaches.
• Shape and evolve CONOPS and support customer SLAs.
• Contribute to program/product management and work with customers on schedule matters; develop interface specs and design documentation; support spacecraft integration and test campaigns.
