Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to support Avionics Embedded Systems Engineering, driving requirements and verification from CONOPS to architecture models. The role emphasizes RF, data telemetry, flight termination systems, and cross-functional collaboration on a missile development program.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in systems engineering, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, and the ability to obtain/maintain DoD Top Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires Systems Engineering experience in aerospace/defense contracts or missiles programs.
• Active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline; strong communication and inter-organizational collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Avionics Embedded Systems Engineering in requirements and verification across CONOPS and architecture modeling.
• Work on RF and Data Acquisition Telemetry, Flight Termination Systems, and RF Cabling within a missile development program.
• Contribute to achieving formal program review readiness and execution.
